Slide 31: Google Glass Improving Patient Experience

(Take me to the beginning of these slides, from my Society for Health Systems Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference presentation on Google Glass and health IT workflow, immediately before HIMSS14. Text accompanying slides is colloquial because it was transcribed from audio recording.)

Relative to patient experience, which I’ve also already briefly covered, Glass can help educate, help navigate hospitals (I’ve seen a really cool indoor navigation program). After I’ve received bad news, I’m not absorbing info well, I’d like to be able to leave a medical office with a video of what was said, perhaps even annotated with links to additional material.
