Slide 18: The Second D (Documentation): Google Glass Gathering Info and Issuing Orders

(Take me to the beginning of these slides, from my Society for Health Systems Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference presentation on Google Glass and health IT workflow, immediately before HIMSS14. Text accompanying slides is colloquial because it was transcribed from audio recording.)


While Glass is not designed for high-productivity data or order entry, if you deliver just the right options, such as Acknowedge I got it, I concur proceed, please hold until I get in touch, work well. Glass also has pretty good speech to text recognition. Several medical speech recognition natural language processing companies are using android SDKs to explore integration with their tech.
