2004 EHR WfMS Tutorial Slide 40-41: Example: Deleting Task Changes EMR EHR Workflow Without Reprogramming

If you want to test whether this really is a workflow management system ask the demonstrator to take you to the process definition that drove the sequence of screens that was the basis of the encounter you just observed.


Ask for them to delete a step, such as allergies, and then go back into the encounter and see of the encounter behavior of the electronic health record workflow management system changes in exactly the way that would be predicted if there is workflow engine that is executing the process definition that just changed.
